There is big list of my school needs-
Public education is the cornerstone of our future. It is imperative that it should be of the highest quality, accessible and effective for all regardless of income, ethnicity, religion, gender or disability.
Investment in public education is an investment in everyone’s future – public education must be and remain the first priority of any Victorian Government.
1. Reduce class sizes in upper primary and secondary
Smaller class sizes allow teachers to provide their students with individual attention and focus on their individual needs. They enable all students to get the most out of their education.
2. Curriculum that meets the needs of all students
Students do well in their studies when they have a curriculum which meets their individual needs, talents and interests. Schools need the resources to offer a broad range of subjects that engage all students and lead to productive post-school pathways.
3. More individualised support for all students
Public schools have a diverse student population, embracing many students with high educational needs. They need the resources to support them, whether they are disabled, have learning difficulties or experiencing emotional and behavioural issues.
4. All students educated in up to date classrooms and facilities
All students should have the opportunity to encounter modern learning environments as a normal part of their educational experience. There is an urgent need for improved school infrastructure and facilities across the public system to enhance educational opportunities for students and meet community expectations.
